Over the weekend of November 5th & 6th the Reconnecting Arts & Community Group held an Art Market and Open Day at the Pulse Art Studio in Spearwood. Although the Saturday was quite wet, we had many brave souls come to try out the workshops and participate in the event. Sunday, although a little damp, was in general a much nicer day and again people came to participate in the demonstrations, workshops, to paint on the community mural, listen to the music, meditate, have a blessing or healing and just join in with the positive feel of this community minded event and meet the artists, musicians, facilitators and other members of their neighbourhood. The next event is planned for March, 2012. At this stage it will be held at the Waldorf School in Gwilliam Street, Bibra Lake.
