RECYCLED & RETRO - The Theme was time. I made this beaded purse using old watchfaces and other watch items.

JUST FOR FUN - A Kimono print was the inspiration of the colours and design of this piece.The smaller glass seedbeads are a combination of Japanese Mill Hills, Delicas, Toho with Miyuki fringe beads around the outside of each component. The larger glass beads consist of black Jablonex (Czech) rounds, Czech Ruby and White Opal Druk beads, glass pearls and faceted Chinese glass crystal. Some of the componants are flatter while others are more curved than others to give more texture and movement to the design. The necklace is finished with red Russian braid which ties allowing the length of the piece to be altered to fit either the wearer or the cut of the blouse being worn at the time.

ROMANTIC - Necklace - A glass Venetian Style foil-lined 20 x 20mm Puffed Heart bead and 9 x 4mm Czech fire-polished faceted rounds

METAPHYSICAL - Necklace - A small Agate focal, Stick Pearls and Czech pressed and faceted glass are highlighted with copper chain, connectors and beads. Swarovski Pearls in chocolate and Greens add another dimension to the design and bring out the colours in the Czech glass. Strand length is approx 88.5fcm for shortest and 106cm for longest. Claspless
