My girlfriend loves buttons so I bought these buttons a couple of years ago at an Antique / Retro Shop and I have been waiting for just the right project to use them in.
10mm and 4mm round jumprings join the buttons to the cascading chain in both the necklace and the earrings of this set.
The Retro buttons are a combination of Pale Kakhi, Cream and Grey and the gold-plated chain adds warmth to the design. A lobster clasp completed the design.
The Jone bracelet goes well with this set.

Approx 14mm, 17mm and 21mm sized buttons are threaded onto black cotton cord in a repeated pattern to form this beautifully balanced choker.
Another 19mm button forms the clasp and the design can be worn either as an approx 35.5cm collar or 40.5cm choker.
Buttons are a unique combination of Opaque charcoal grey and pale cream with swirls of translucent tones.

17 unique approx 15mm round Retro buttons in a combination of Opaque charcoal grey and pale cream with swirls of translucent tones are woven with Opaque Alabaster Honeydew Delica seedbeads and Czech fire-polished 4mm faceted round glass crystal beads in a beautiful Alexandrite Twilight to form the centre of this design.
The necklace is finished with 52 more of these amazing colour changing Alexandrite Twilight beads and the clasp is another of these wonderful buttons.

A recycled vintage crochet doily is backed with beading foundation to give this design structure and then lined. Cream and gold ribbon flowers in satin and organza decorate the base doily and are highlighted by beads and flower shaped, lustred buttons.
Recycled vintage glass pearls in white, green, mauve and cream, lined seedbeads, gold coloured rounds and small beadcaps (which have been flattened to form a flower shape) are joined with new gold coloured freshwater pearls, small white seedbeads and gold plated approx 9x11mm linked chain.
The doily is finished will a recycled satin fringe of approx 13cm long.
The widest section of the "bib" is approx 25.5 cm and it is approx 13.5 deep (not including the fringe).
Drops of glass pearls hang from the lower section of the doily with some dangling amongst the fringe.
The chain is finished with glass pearl on one end and a small toggle pin on the other. This pin can be threaded through any of the links in the chain to give a range of lengths.
