Silver, Swarovski crystal and glass necklace with magnetic clasp

Dacia $106.00
Wood beads made from Australian bush-timber. These are made from found or salvaged materials. The long centre drilled bead is approx 62x13mm.
Beautiful fibres in a combination of matt and shiny rainforrest tones are threaded through the wooden beads and form the necklace.
Some fibres are knotted between the beads to add depth to the design. The longest of these threads is approx 16cm.
The necklace is approx 87.5cm long and is finished with a bronze lobster clasp and findings.

I have drilled through 41 x approx 17x20mm sections of shell (most are oval, though a few are freeform, but all have beautiful colour and texture) then threaded each onto a headpin, added a Czech firepolished crystal and wrapped them onto 3 strands of crocheted multicoloured fibre yarn.
An approx 20x30mm freeform teardrop shaped shell sits in the centre of the strands.
Each length of yarn is a different set of tones, bringing together all the shades of a coral reef.
Black cotton cord is threaded through the plaited yarn. The cord is then knotted over the yarn allowing some of it to stick out to add extra texture and colour.
2 hand-forged gold plated "S" clasps are connected with a jumpring to form the clasp. Total length is approx 67cm.

These 3 x 8 petaled flowers are approx 50mm across from point to point.
Black chinese faceted teardrop crystals join the flowers and make the colours of the fluro yellow and jade green seedbeads pop.
3 x 7mm black and 2 x 9mm translucent Jade green faceted Czech glass crystals are the centres of the flowers and highlight the satin ribbon tie.
This design sits well as a choker, but the ribbon tie allows the lenth to be adjusted to suit.

This asymmetrical piece of netting is made with the same count stitch on each section, but the use of various size and shaped beads it twists similar to the Ogalala Lace stitch.
Beads are a combination of bugle and seedbeads witha scattering of drop beads on the edge.
The design is random to represent an old torn fishing net. Gold plated dolphin and coin charms at the back of the netting suggest the battle between ecology and economy in managing our oceans.
The necklace measures approx 52cm and is finished with a gold plated toggle clasp.

1 x large (approx 40x8mm) and 3 x medium (approx 28x6mm, 31x7mm and 32x6mm) handmade foil-lined green feature beads are highlighted with 63 x 4mm fire-polished crystal Vitrial faceted round Czech glass beads and 26 x 6mm filigree nickle beadcaps.
Both the beadcaps and the Czech beads add a muted glint of silver colour to highlight the foil lined glass beads.
Due to the random placement of the smaller glass beads, there is no right or wrong way to wear it.
This piece is approx 81.5cm long and claspless.
The design has a good weight to it and falls elegantly.

Alternating sections of red and black opaque seedbeads separate assorted black and red glass beads in a variety of finishes including matt, translucent, transparent, lustred, foil-lined or wrapped and opaque.
Silver coloured "looped" beadcaps
compliment the silver foil of some beads and add lightness to the design.
This design is predominantly red with the black seedbead sections and glass beads adding some lovely contrast.
The shortest strand is approx 84.5cm while the longest on is approx 104.5cm. This piece is finished with a silver plated lobster clasp and tag.

Two strands of tiger tail wire support 2 x pale Topaz coloured silver foil-lined glass beads from which 8 multi coloured strands of beaded thread softly drapes.
One feature bead is approx 21x18mm and drum shaped while the other is a cubed rectangle approx 19x14mm.
Seedbeads and bugle beads in gold and topaz colours add to the versatility of this design. The seedbeads include matt, lined, translucent, AB, and bugle beads.
This design measures approx 62cm and is finished with a copper coloured S hook and a 40mm extension chain. The central strands are beautifully soft and flowing, while the upper strands add strength and form. ________________________________________________________________________

37 x Red handmade assorted glass beads in frosted, transparent and lustred finished are highlighted with silver coloured "loopy" beadcaps and round spacer beads to form this necklace.
A fringe of 35 loops of black seedbeads draping across the front section adds drama.
This design is finished with a silver plated lobster clasp and tag and measures approx 43cm long.
The longest central loop hangs about 40mm below the main strand.

2 large silver coloured starfish (approx 5.5cm) support 2 strands of beautiful sparkling 4mm Vitrial Czech Jablonex bicones and Jet Swarovski Crystal bicones.
An 8mm Jet Swarovski crystal bicone features in the centre of both strands.
These strands are threaded onto black professional series tiger tail.
Black Neoprene is highlighted each end with a 4mm Vitrial bicone and finished with a silver plated lobster clasp and tag. The shortest strand is approx 46cm long.

Deep Topaz coloured, foil lined glass beads are highlighted with gold-plated beadcaps and are the feature of this multistrand necklace supported by 58 x Topaz coloured glass Czech Druk beads.
The square feature bead is approx 25x7mm while the other is approx 23x8mm.
5 strands of soft beading thread support more of the Czech Druk beads, Czech faceted fire-polished beads and a mix of Toho seedbeads in topaz and gold colours in various sizes, shapes, tones and finishes.
The shortest strand is approx 66.5cm long and this piece is finished with a gold plated lobster clasp and tag.
The feature beads form a wonderful contrast to the smaller and lighter coloured beads.

95 x 9mm Black aluminium jumprings form a simple chainmaille design to support the beautiful purple, maroon, teal, Indigo and black colours of the satin ribbon. The longest ribbon is approx 19.5cm.
9 x Czech fire-polished glass crystal bicones add sparkle to the design.
A black satin ribbon ties at the back of the neck and allows for changes in the length of this very light and fun design. The length is variable, but the shortest would be approx 43cm.

Beautiful Jablonex® Czech 8mm faceted round fire polished glass beads in shades of orange, yellow and pink are the inspiration for this design.
Emerald green Czech discs, fuchsia and emerald Swarovski crystal bicones, lighter emerald green rondelles and gold plated round spacer beads all make the other colours "pop".
This necklace is completed with a crystal centred gold plated flower box clasp and measures approx 45.5cm long.
