Press Release Maxine Faye Clarke is the designer, artist and owner of MaxineFaye, handcrafted individual and custom-made jewellery and beadwork. She enjoys working with the naivety, almost primitiveness of some handmade glass, the precision and sparkle of Swarovski crystal and the organic feel of semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearls and Bali silver. Maxine has always been creative. She has pursued this interest through sewing, knitting, crochet, batik, macrame, folk art, leadlight, woodwork and scapbooking. In 2003 she attended a local jewellery making class and her passion for beading was ignited. Maxine has attained the Aura Soma Advanced Level of Colour Therapy and gets excited working with the colour combinations offered by the beads. It is these combinations of colour and texture and the "feel" of the beads that inspire Maxine's original designs. Her designs cover several price ranges, from simple glass earrings starting at $5.00 through to gemstone creations worth hundreds of dollars. Several of Maxine's designs can be tailored to the individual's requirements and she is always happy to discuss this option with the customer. Maxine creates custom- made pieces on commission. |
